Among the highlights of Expo 2011 was the Best Exhibitor Booth which was won by papaya company Martha's Best. The Gleaner's Adult Spelling Bee was also a huge draw among competing adults, who wanted the title of Adult Spelling Bee champion in addition to cash prizes. The Freddie McGregor concert sealed the deal on Saturday night when he, Soul 4 Soul and Tammy T performed their heart out for all who attended.

"The sponsors are happy and they truly feel fulfilled about their sponsorship of Expo 2011, and we hope to have them back on board for 2012. The exhibitors have all hailed the success of the expo and we hope to increase the number of participants next year," he promised.

Crump is also considering the option of partnering with the Culinary Federation of Jamaica, which organises Taste of Jamaica.

"I noticed that Taste of Jamaica, culinary event was being hosted at the same time as the expo and, as such, we may look at partnering with them next year for Expo 2012, something that would be value added from both events."
